Main Scope of Job:                                  Undertake General Building Maintenance  \ Light Plumbing \ Painting \ Plastering \ Carpentry \Tiling \ Ad hoc maintenance work

Responsible to:                                      Property & Maintenance Supervisor\ Operations Mgr.

Overview of Post:                                   

Choice Services, the in-house service delivery organisation within Choice Housing, are looking to appoint a Joiner \ Carpenter or multi skilled worker to undertake response maintenance, change of tenancy, multi-trade and project works to residential properties. This will include responsibilities to deliver excellent customer service.  The Post will also include general trade duties, supporting trade colleagues, general grounds maintenance, working at height and inspections when required.

 Applicants must have:

• Multi Trade Background / Carpentry / Tiling / Painting / Plastering / Light Plumbing / Roofing / Grounds Maintenance.
• Must be able to demonstrate a high level of experience in the delivery of general building maintenance and carpentry services,  general grounds maintenance and  working at height
• Good knowledge of  General building and maintenance services with a minimum of 5 year's relevant experience in the minor building or maintenance sector.
• Experience in carrying out Multi-Trade works e.g. tiling, general building, flooring, grounds work, and minor plumbing.
• Current valid full driving licence.
• Participate in an On-Call rota to address emergency work order

Desirable Criteria

• A minimum of 1 year's relevant experience in the social housing sector
