The development is close to established amenities; schools, sports grounds and facilities, hospital, shops and offers a Quiet, safe place to live. The layout is conducive to enhancing friendships among neighbours, and passive surveillance.

Approach

The scheme incorporates an original much loved birch tree which marks the entrance, and around which the entrance road and footpath were realigned.

Kearney’s Drive is an extension of the existing cul-de-sac, which now seamlessly extends Arden heights turning into our scheme, promoting connectivity.

The open play area on Arden heights has been resurfaced as part of the contract, providing further play area for local children.

The shared open space to the centre further provides a space for children to play and enjoy each others company in a safe environment. 

The robust brick exterior to the front, gives a sense of protection and yet the integral external seating facilitates casual interaction with neighbours if desired. 

The added gateways/fencing further provide protection and a sense of ownership for residents to make their individual mark on their homes.
