Oaklee CEO Sharon Cosgrove Included in the Business Post Property 100

We are proud to announce that Oaklee CEO Sharon Cosgrove has been included in the Business Post Property 100 - a list of the most influential people in the Irish Property Sector. Thank you to Tina-Marie O'Neill and the team for this acknowledgement.

Oaklee has seen its housing stock almost quadruple under the guidance of Sharon since she became the housing body’s Chief Executive in 2016. Now, Oaklee has about 2,300 social and affordable units on its books, including one of the largest cost rental developments in the country at Adamstown, Co Dublin.

Sharon held several previous senior roles in the NGO sector including CEO of the Asthma Society of Ireland and Sonas Housing. She led regeneration and housing programmes in South Dublin and in Bristol City.

Sharon is passionate about housing. Her focus is on achieving high standards in customer service, creating a safety and compliance culture and delivering high quality sustainable developments. Proud of those achievements as well as Acorn Housing SPV and Oaklee’s involvement in the Comhar consortium, the first social housing PPP bundle in Ireland, Sharon is committed to delivering Oaklee’s Corporate Plan 23-25 - delivering more homes through strong partnerships and strengthening communication and engagement with our stakeholders.

She also served as chair at the Housing Alliance. Bringing energy and inspiration to a largely challenging environment, Cosgrove was described by one colleague as “a great boss and lovely to work with”.
