Applicants should review the full eligibility criteria before beginning an application. This includes requirements relating to household income, property ownership, existing housing supports and the size of the home required.

Life in Donabate

Harman’s Rest is located in the established coastal village of Donabate in north County Dublin.

Residents will have access to local shops, schools and services, as well as Donabate Beach and the parkland and walking routes at Newbridge Demesne. The village is served by rail and bus connections to Dublin city centre and is conveniently located close to the M1 and Dublin Airport.

Building Oaklee’s Cost Rental programme

Harman’s Rest is Oaklee’s second Cost Rental scheme, following the delivery of 154 Cost Rental homes at The Sidings in Adamstown in 2025. The Sidings also included 30 social homes and was Oaklee’s first mixed-tenure scheme to bring Cost Rental and social homes together within one community.

Harman’s Rest builds on that experience and represents the next stage in Oaklee’s growing Cost Rental programme.
