Caroline Casserly Farrar Join's Oaklee Housing as Director of Operational Performance

Oaklee housing is delighted to announce the appointment of Caroline Casserly–Farrar as Director of Operational Performance.

Caroline joins Oaklee from Dublin Central Mission where for over five years she was the Director of Housing and HR with responsibility for resident services, housing performance, health and safety, asset management, governance, compliance and Human Resources.

A newly created role within the organisation, Caroline will be an integral member of the management team holding collective accountability for strategic leadership and the sole responsibility for all aspects of operational performance linked to housing, property, and asset management alongside customer service, safety, and investment.

“Throughout my professional career,” says Casserly, “ I have focused on driving high quality standards and services for customers and staff. Key to this has centred around building strong relationships through communication and collaboration with my teams, customers and associated stakeholders.

In the housing industry we are all here for one reason and that is to ensure our tenants have a place to call home. It is essential that we actively listen to our tenants and that they participate in the services and supports we are offering.”

Commenting on Caroline’s appointment, Sharon Cosgrove, Oaklee Housing CEO, says, “This is a new role for us. As we continue to grow it is critical that we manage our resources to ensure that we can  maintain a high level of excellence in how we operate our business. Caroline’s experience combined with her obvious passion for people will ensure that we will not just maintain but exceed expectations when it comes to the services we provide for our tenants.

Speaking about Oaklee Housing, Casserly remarked “What was unique for me about Oaklee was their commitment to not only provide a ‘key to the door’ for their tenants but also their drive to build relationships and create communities which flourish into the future. I’m really looking forward to joining the team and working with them to lead in delivering high quality homes in dynamic communities.”

Caroline has a diploma in Housing Studies from UCD, recently completed the Transformative Leadership Programme with CAN Academy and the Wheel and Community and Equality Studies from Maynooth University. Caroline is a also graduate of Trinity College Dublin with a Masters Degree in Theology.
